Alabama’s Jermaine Burton accused of hitting rival fans

Losing Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton has been accused of hitting at least two rival Tennessee fans — including a woman — as they stormed the field en masse this weekend.

At least two Tik Tok videos appear to show him lashing out while storming off to the locker room after his team’s 52-49 loss Saturday.

In one, a woman appears to leap to her left to avoid the fast-marching Crimson Tide player — just for him to lash out with his left hand.

The woman stops in her tracks and holds her hands to her head as she turns in apparent shock while the player moves past.

The clip was shared by Tennesee fan Emily Isaacs along with the caption: “Jermaine Burton smacking me in the head while walking past him after their loss Saturday.”

After the hit, Isaacs stops in her tracks and looks back while holding her head.

Isaacs confirmed to sports site OutKick, a Fox affiliate, that she was the woman in the video, but declined to discuss it.

Another Tennesse fan shared another clip of him repeatedly screaming “Oh my God! Oh my God!” as the field is turned into a sea of orange shirts — with Burton again seemingly lashing out with a right hand.

“Jermaine Burton was so mad he had to hit me after the loss😭,” the fan, using the name JoJo, wrote.

“I was told he smacked a girl in the head after too,” he said.

Tennesee fan site The Volunteer complained that the player made “purposeful contact to the head of a female Tennessee fan.”

“Completely unnecessary behavior by Burton,” it tweeted.

The SEC (Southeastern Conference) announced Monday that the University of Tennessee will be hit with a $100,000 fine for allowing fans to access the competition area.

OutKick said neither the SEC nor the University of Alabama immediately responded to requests for comment on the allegations over Burton, who also does not appear to have addressed them.
