Andy Dick arrested for allegedly stealing power tools

Andy Dick was arrested last week for allegedly stealing power tools – and remains behind bars.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office jail records, obtained by Page Six, reveal that the disgraced comedian, 56, was arrested on Oct. 13 and has bail set at $50,000.
Court records show the Santa Barbara County D.A. charged Dick with first-degree residential burglary, to which he pleaded not guilty.
According to TMZ, Dick was caught redhanded stealing power tools from a home under construction. The homeowner told police they don’t know Dick and made it clear that he did not have permission to be on the property.
Andy’s lawyer, public defender Brian Mathis, told the outlet that he is “confident additional facts will come to light supporting Mr. Dick as this case moves forward.”
Neither Mathis nor the Santa Barbara Police Department immediately returned Page Six’s request for comment.
Dick’s legal troubles go way back. The “In the Army Now” actor was last arrested in May during a livestream for felony sexual battery after a man who went by “JJ” accused Dick of molesting him in his sleep. The “Andy Dick Show” alum was released from jail days later after paying 10 percent of his $25,000 bail.
In 2018, Dick pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor sexual battery after allegedly groping a woman’s buttocks.
He was charged with groping a driver from a ride-hailing service in 2019 and was arrested for allegedly hitting his boyfriend with a liquor bottle in November 2021.
Dick’s ex-fiancée Elisa Jordana dumped him in July 2021 after he was arrested months prior following an arrest for assault with a deadly weapon.
