It looks like Billy Ray Cyrus spares no expense when it comes to his lady love, Firerose.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner and his girlfriend seemingly confirmed their engagement by flaunting an eyebrow-raising piece of bling, which experts tell Page Six Style could be worth a hefty sum.
“It’s impossible not to notice the sparkler on Firerose’s left hand. The dazzling ring looks to be a 5-carat round diamond – round diamonds are the most popular diamond shape, making up approximately 75 percent of all diamonds sold and about 60 percent of all engagement rings,” Zack Stone, an engagement ring expert at retailer Steven Stone, tells us.
“The diamond in Firerose’s ring appears to be low color – low color diamonds have a yellow tint that’s visible to the naked eye in normal lighting,” Stone continued. “The more colorless a diamond is, generally the more radiant, valuable, and rare it is as well.
“With this in mind, I’d estimate Firerose’s ring to be worth $150,000. If the diamond was in fact high color, the ring’s value would increase by around $70,000,” Stone continued, bringing the potential total of the ring to $220,000.
In a series of Instagram photos, the country singer cuddled up to Firerose as she showed off a massive diamond ring, seemingly suggesting the pair’s engagement.
The couple captioned the post “Happy Autumn🧡,” but did not provide any clarification on what the ring symbolizes.
Cyrus’s reps did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The pair first sparked engagement rumors in September after Firerose shared a series of snaps in which she donned the diamond sparkler.
“Taking in the moment…,” the singer, whose age is unknown, captioned the elusive snap.
While it’s unclear how long the pair have been dating, they did work on a song called “New Day” together last year.
The possible engagement came as a surprise to many fans given the fact Cyrus’s wife, Tish Cyrus, only filed for divorce from the country star six months ago.
After 29 years of marriage and five kids, Tish cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She said the pair haven’t lived together since Feb. 2020.
However, this was the third time the pair filed for divorce with their most recent separation being five years prior.
The pair share daughters Brandi, 35, Miley, 29, and Noah, 22, and sons Trace, 33, and Braison, 28.
