UK woman attacked love rival with stiletto-shaped bottle

This stinks.

A UK woman was left with horrifical facial injuries after a love rival attacked her with a stiletto-shaped perfume bottle.

Amelia Duckworth got into a social media spat with her ex-boyfriend’s new partner, Jessica Baker — who then challenged her to a showdown in a village park in Poundbury, according to a court report in the Daily Echo.

There, Baker yelled, “I’m going to do you in!” — then pulled out the shoe-shaped Carolina Herrera bottle from behind her back, Bournemouth Crown Court was told.

Photos showed Baker angrily clutching the glass bottle just before she slashed her love rival at least twice across the face, leaving her covered in blood and suffering a concussion, the court heard.

Duckworth was taken to hospital, where her scalp was glued and a gash between her eyes was stitched up, the court reportedly heard.

In a victim statement, Duckworth said she’d been left “traumatized” and afraid to go out after the attack last August.

Baker pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

She had snapped after being “taunted” with “hundreds of phone calls from unknown numbers” about her boyfriend’s ex, her attorney, Rebecca Fairbairn, told the court.

“It just got too much,” the attorney said.

“She has genuine remorse. She knows that Miss Duckworth will live with the consequences for the rest of her life — as will Ms. Baker.”

The attacker was sentenced to a year in prison — suspended for two years, meaning she will not actually spend it behind bars if she meets her conditions in that time.
