Dad trashed as ‘racist, Trump-loving’ at own funeral identified as billionaire CEO

A man derided by his child at his own funeral as a “racist, misogynistic, xenophobic” Donald Trump supporter has been identified as billionaire businessman Donald Foss.

Foss’ child — who uses they/them pronouns — hit headlines earlier this week after proudly posting footage to TikTok that showed them chastising their dad in front of stunned mourners. At the time, the trash-talking TikToker did not disclose their full name or the identity of their dad.

But on Friday, the Daily Mail named the chiding child as Samatha Foss and their dad as Donald Foss —  the founder and former CEO of auto loans company Credit Acceptance. 

The Michigan-based magnate died from cancer on Aug. 14 at the age of 78 and reportedly had a net worth of nearly $2 billion at the time of his passing.

Despite growing up with extreme wealth and privilege, biracial Samantha — who is a self-described “black supremacist” — renounced their father at his funeral, saying his death had “solidified the fact that you’ll never be what you could have been, but only what you are — and what you are is a racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, Trump-loving, cis, straight white man.”

Samantha has now turned their TikTok account to private, but the footage of the funeral speech is still available on the @LibsofTikTok Twitter account.

Elsewhere in their now-viral clip, Samantha can be heard further hitting out at their dad.

“Dad, please know that I am grateful, and highly aware of what you have done for this family, [but] I still don’t miss you,” they declared. “When you died, I felt like there was a hole. I missed something, but it wasn’t you. It was the idea of what you could [have] become.

“I missed being able to hope and wish that one day you’d turn a corner and see the world from my perspective,” they continued.

Concluding the tirade, Samantha stated: “You are everything I aspire not to be and I refuse to stand up here and sing the praises of a man who is the paradigm of white supremacy … I swear to God, I will make this world a better place. Not at all because of you, but in exact opposition to you.”

According to sources who spoke with Daily Mail, Samantha is the youngest of Donald’s three children and is currently a student at Oglethorpe College in Brookhaven, Georgia, where tuition tops $57,000 per year.

One source vigorously defended the late Foss, refuting Samantha’s claims that he was racist.

“He dated women of color, he married her mother, if anybody loved a black woman, it was Don,” the source declared. “[Samantha] went to a very diverse high school in Michigan, they played lacrosse and he [Donald] would go to their games. They didn’t lack for anything.”

“I don’t understand where it is coming from; maybe it is teenage rebellion,” the insider added.

Samantha was reportedly raised by Donald and his wife in a $7.3 million mansion in Franklin, Michigan, before they sold the pricey property in 2020.

The elder Foss — who was the son of a used car salesman — founded Credit Acceptance in 1972 before selling it many years later. In 2019, it had total assets upwards of $7 billion.

The businessman later became a prominent philanthropist, creating the Don Foss Annual Scholarship in 1998 and the Don Foss Endowed Scholarship in 2015, which have awarded more than 630 scholarships to students 

Following his death, a spokesperson for Credit Acceptance declared that he was “an American entrepreneurial icon, and his story epitomizes the great American Dream.”

Samantha has not publicly responded to the furor surrounding the funeral speech but has since set their TikTok to private.
